POS1004-HPR INVESTIGATING THE EFFECTS OF COGNITIVE EXERCISE THERAPY APPROACH ON FUNCTIONING, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION AND BIOPSYCHOSOCIAL STATUS OF INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS: A CONTROLLED PILOT STUDY

Background Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) with heterogeneous involvement limits the functionality of individuals. Anxiety-depression and biopsychosocial effects are observed due to these functional limitations. Therefore, a approach is recommended in disease management individuals SSc [1, 2]. The Cognitive Exercise Therapy Approach (BETY) developed on rheumatism has been presented literature as biopsychosocial-based exercise [3]. Objectives aim this study was investigate BETY functionality, anxiety-depression status diagnosed SSc. Methods 24 SSc, 12 who participated sessions (Group 1) control group 2) were included study. applied exercises 3 days week for weeks. At beginning at end weeks, evaluated Scleroderma Health Assessment Questionnaire (SHAQ) [4], Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS) (2) BETY-Biopsychosocial (BETY-BQ) Results mean age (44.50 ± 10.16 years) (47.75 13.63 years), other demographic information first evaluation parameters similar (p>0.05). Individuals all showed significant improvement (p<0.05). In group, depression score worsened (p<0.001) while did not change (p>0.05) (Table 1). Table 1.
